HTC Sensation XE launched in India
HTC has officially launched its Sensation XE Android smartphone in India – not long after we’ve reported that this would happen sometime before the end of November.
According to AndroidOS.in, Best Buy will sell the XE in India for 33,990 INR (about $652). Flipkart is offering the new handset for slightly less, though: 32,400 INR.
The Sensation XE features Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Sense UI, a 4.3 inch qHD (960 x 540) display, HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Beats Audio technology (including headsets), 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, 768MB of RAM, and a dual-core 1.5GHz processor.
Another new HTC Android handset that’s supposed to arrive in India soon is the Rhyme (which, of course, will be cheaper than the Sensation XE, since it doesn’t really have high-end features).
