Samsung S8600 Wave 3 with Bada 2.0 available starting today

Samsung S8600 Wave 3, the company’s latest Bada flagship smartphone, is hitting the market starting today – first in France, then in Germany, Italy, Russia, and other countries around the world.

Initially, the Wave 3 was supposed to be released in October, but, well, it’s only now that Samsung has announced its availability.

Running Bada 2.0, the Samsung Wave 3 comes in a 9.9mm thin metal case with anodized brushed aluminum, and features: a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, HSPA 14.4 Mbps connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, ChatON service, 512MB of RAM, 1.4GHz single-core processor, 5MP autofocus rear camera, and a VGA front-facing camera.

Samsung didn’t unveil the official price of the Wave 3. GSM Arena says it’s around €280. However, online retailers like Expansys France have the handset for about €400.
