Samsung Galaxy Note will be launched in Canada in Q1 2012
Already launched in Europe and Asia, the Samsung Galaxy Note is going to be released in Canada soon, too – although it won’t happen this year, but sometime in the first quarter of 2012.
There’s no word on what Canadian carrier will offer the Galaxy Note, but Mobile Syrup has it that the device is going to “end up being an exclusive” – so it’s likely that only one carrier will have it.
The Note is a massive smartphone / tablet hybrid with a 5.3 inch Super AMOLED HD (1280 x 800) display. Its other features include TouchWiz UI 4.0, HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 3.0, 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, 2MP front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, and a 1.4GHz dual-core processor.
The Galaxy Note is currently running Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, and Samsung said it would offer an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for it sometime next year.
