HTC Sensation XL introduced in India
Released earlier this month in the UK and Australia, the HTC Sensation XL has been also launched in India recently, where it should become available soon in stores across the country.
The Sensation XL will be sold for 39,000 INR ($750). According to AndroidOS.in, this price makes the XL the most expensive Android smartphone in India.
Although it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the HTC Sensation XL has a lot in common with the HTC Titan (which runs Windows Phone Mango). It has about the same size, and about the same features: 4.7 inch WVGA display, HSPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1.5GHz single-core processor, and 16GB of on-board memory. The Android handset has more RAM though (768MB), and comes with Beats Audio technology.
The Sensation XL is the second Beats Audio smartphone introduced by HTC in India, after the Sensation XE (released last week for 33,000 INR).
