Verizon Galaxy Nexus available at Samsung NY store, you can’t buy it though
We’re in December now, and sadly Verizon has still not announced when exactly it would launch the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in the US
However, all signs are pointing to an imminent release.
For example, the Galaxy Nexus is already available at the Samsung Experience store in The Shops at Columbus Circle, Time Warner Center, New York City. Unfortunately, it’s not available for purchase, but only for customers to play with it, and test that Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich goodness.
One of the commentators over at Droid-life (which published the photos of the Galaxy Nexus in the Samsung Experience store – see below) says that “the manager of the store had absolutely no clue when they’d be allowed to sell it” – not exactly encouraging news, is it?
The latest rumored launch date for Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus was December 9 (this Friday). Let’s hope the carrier confirms this in the next few days.
