New T-Mobile HTC Amaze 4G software update brings Google Music, Wi-Fi calling
Launched by T-Mobile USA in October (at the same time with the Samsung Galaxy S II), the HTC Amaze 4G is now ready o receive a new software update (build number 1.43.531).
The update is being rolled out over the air as of today (December 12), and every T-Mobile Amaze 4G should get it until January 20.
The novelties included in the update are: Wi-Fi calling, Google Music, enhanced Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections, and improved Twitter and Peep integration. The Amaze 4G still runs Android Gingerbread, but it will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich next year.
T-Mobile USA is currently selling the HTC Amaze 4G in either black or white, for $229.99 on contract (the same price asked for the Samsung Galaxy S II), though you can get it at Amazon for $199 in both black and white
