Verizon Motorola Droid 4 official spec sheet breaks cover
While everyone and their dog is obsessing over the possible release date for Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus, there’s another high-end Android device that should make its way to Big Red this year. And no, we don’t mean the white Motorola Droid RAZR.
It’s the Droid 4, also made by Motorola. This is basically a RAZR which comes with a full physical side-sliding QWERTY keyboard. It retains the RAZR’s styling, and while it certainly isn’t as slim as that device, it’s not very bulky either – at least for a handset with a keyboard.
While we wait for the Droid 4 to finally make its way to Verizon stores, the official full spec sheet has been leaked to RootzWiki. There’s really nothing in there that we haven’t heard rumored before, but it’s always nice to get pseudo-official confirmation.
So, let’s recap. The Motorola Droid 4 for Verizon will have a 4-inch 960×540 touchscreen with Gorilla Glass, a dual-core 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, an 8 MP rear camera with 1080p HD video capture and image stabilization, a secondary HD front-facing camera for video calls, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, mini USB and HDMI out, and a 1,785 mAh battery. The Droid 4 will run Android Gingerbread with Moto ‘enhancements’ on top.
