UK: HTC Flyer price drops to just £199
If you’re looking to buy an Android tablet these days in the UK, and don’t want to spend much, here’s a great bargain for you. The HTC Flyer is now selling for an almost unbelievable £199. That’s budget tablet pricing.
And let’s not forget that back when it launched, the Flyer was one of the most expensive tablets. In the UK, the Wi-Fi-only version (which is what’s been discounted now) went for no less than £479. So there you have it. £280 off.
If you’re interested, run to Dixons right now. Who knows how long this price (or supplies, for that matter) will last.
The HTC Flyer comes running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but the update to Android 3.2 Honeycomb may be waiting for you once you start it up. If it isn’t, it should come shortly.
