Samsung to push Bada 2.0 updates to its Wave range in Q1 2012
Back in September, Samsung announced that all of its older Wave smartphones would be updated to Bada 2.0 starting Q4 2011. Not long after that, the company has excluded the Wave 525 and Wave 533 models, citing hardware limitations.
And now it looks like the Bada 2.0 update for the remaining handsets is delayed.
According to Samsung Spain, older Wave phones will only get to taste the new version of the OS starting the first quarter of 2012. Last week, Samsung Italy provided a more specific timeline, saying Bada 2.0 updates would start rolling-out in March 2012 (which, of course, is still Q1).
For the moment, Samsung has only three Wave smartphones that come with Bada 2.0: Wave III, Wave M, and Wave Y.
