Canada: Samsung Galaxy Nexus arrives at Rogers and Fido on January 10 (Motorola RAZR too at Fido)

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus will become available in Canada at Rogers and Fido on January 10. That’s in line with what we’ve previously heard regarding the superphone’s launch at carriers other than Bell and Virgin Mobile. That’s because those two have so far had exclusivity on the device, having released it at the beginning of December.

Unfortunately we have no details about pricing yet, but the most likely scenario is that you’ll find it similarly priced to Bell and Virgin Mobile (which ask $159 with a three-year contract, and $649 outright).

Also in just one week another high-end Android-powered smartphone will land at Fido – the Motorola RAZR. This is already available at Rogers.

Fido will be asking $100 for the RAZR with a new three-year contract. We don’t know the no-contract price yet, but it should be similar (if not identical) to Rogers’ $649.99.
