Samsung Wave Y with Bada 2.0 launched in India
The Wave Y S5380, one of Samsung’s three smartphones that were introduced last year running Bada 2.0 OS, is now available in India.
According to FoneArena, Indian customers can buy the Samsung Wave Y for 7,950 INR (about $150) – that’s about the same price you have to pay for the Android-based Samsung Galaxy Y.
If you get the new handset with a SIM card from Airtel (India’s largest mobile carrier), you also get 500MB of data for 1 month, and 100MB of data for 1 year on 3G.
The Samsung Wave Y S5380 features a 3.2 inch HVGA display, TouchWiz UI, HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, GPS, Samsung ChatOn, Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm headset jack, 2MP rear camera, 832MHz processor, and a 2GB memory card pre-installed.
