Confirmed: Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch to be out in white on January 8 for $199.99
In December, we first got hold of a rumor claiming that a white version of Sprint’s Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch would materialize at some point. Then, a few days later, another leak all but confirmed the fact, attaching a release date too: January 8.
Turns out that was right, for today Sprint itself made the white Epic 4G Touch official. And indeed it will be in stores on January 8 (that’s this Sunday). If you’re interested in getting one, know that you’ll need to shell out $199.99 for the privilege. And, naturally, you’ll have to sign a new two-year contract to get that price.
The Epic 4G Touch in ‘frost white’ is identical to its black sibling in all respects but the color. Oh, and, as you can see, this is no partial paint job, for the entire device is clad in white. So a treat for white lovers. If the white Samsung Galaxy Nexus isn’t your cup of tea, of course.
