Samsung confirms AT&T’s Galaxy Note at CES

This is not exactly a surprise, but we have to let you know that Samsung is showing off ads of AT&T’s Galaxy Note at CES 2012 in Las Vegas – where the device should be officially introduced tomorrow.

The ads tell us what we already know: the handset isn’t exactly a tablet, a neither a smartphone. It’s simply “Galaxy Note”, a hybrid device that sports a 5.3 inch HD (1280 x 800) display.

If everything goes as rumored, AT&T customers will be able to buy the Galaxy Note starting February 14. Assuming the carrier launches the Note with Android Gingerbread on board, an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich should follow shortly.

It remains to be seen if Sprint will also announce its own version of the Galaxy Note. If it’s going to happen, it will likely not be at CES – otherwise, sings of it would’ve appeared on the web until now. Or maybe not. Well, we’ll see.

With this nice Samsung Galaxy, Apple Inc would feel worried about its big improvement of sales in USA.
