Motorola Droid 3 discounted again at Verizon. Purple Droid Razr now available

With the Droid Razr Maxx and Droid 4 coming really, really soon, Verizon has slashed another $50 from the price of the Motorola Droid 3, which now costs only $49.99 on contract.

In addition to making the Droid 3 cheaper, today Verizon has launched the original Motorola Droid Razr in purple. Like the black and white editions, the 16GB version of the purple Razr can be yours for $199.99 on contract. The 32GB Razr (only in black) is available, too, for $299.99 on contract.

We already know that the new Droid Razr Maxx should be launched on January 26 (for $299.99). It remains to be seen if Verizon and Motorola decide to introduce the Droid 4 the same day. It would be nice.

    I’m sure you mean the Droid 4 or RAZR Maxx. The only talk about the Droid 3 is that it’s now $50 or if you’ve had a lot of trouble with the Droid X2 you can go into a Droid 3.
