HTC Radar to bring more Windows Phone Mango to Canada (via Videotron)
Already available in the US via T-Mobile and Cincinnati Bell, the HTC Radar is about to cross the northern border to Canada, where Videotron is reportedly getting ready to release it.
According to Le Presse (website in French), Videotron intends to launch the new Windows Phone Mango handset in “early spring”, which likely means in March.
For the moment, there’s no word on how much Videotron will ask for the HTC Radar, but $50 on contract seems reasonable – since the Radar isn’t exactly a high-end product, coming with a 3.8 inch WVGA display, 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 5MP rear camera, and 8GB of internal memory (not expandable, as there is no MicroSD card slot).
Canada’s first two Windows Phone Mango devices will be the Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710, which are going to be released next month by Telus and Rogers, respectively.
