Samsung Galaxy Y Duos and Y Pro Duos now available in Europe

Officially announced in December as Samsung’s first dual SIM Android smartphones, the Galaxy Y Duos and Galaxy Y Pro Duos are now starting to hit the shelves across Europe.

In Greece, Wind is selling the Galaxy Y Pro Duos for €139 (about $181).

In Russia, both new handsets are available as of today. The Galaxy Y Pro Duos costs 9,990 RUB (about €252 or $330 – and yes, it’s a big different from the price for the Greek market), while the Galaxy Y Duos can be had for 7,990 RUB (€201 or $263).

The two dual SIM Galaxy smartphones run Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and come with entry-level features like 832MHz processors, 384MB of RAM, and 3MP or 2MP cameras. The Y Pro Duos sports a full QWERTY keyboard and a 2.6 inch touchscreen display with 400 x 240 pixels, while the Y Duos has a 3.2 inch QVGA touchscreen display. Both devices should be released in new markets from now on.
