Motorola Motoluxe announced for the UK, should be launched this month
Motorola has announced that its Motoluxe Android smartphone (initially unveiled back in January) would be released in the UK soon – more exactly, before the end of this month (February).
Targeted at “all British style gurus”, the Motoluxe comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and MotoSwitch UI, and “a lanyard slot that lights up, so you can see when you’ve missed a call, received a text or have an email waiting for you.”
Other features include: 4 inch edge-to-edge FWVGA display, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, 8MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, and an 800MHz processor.
Motorola didn’t say how much the Motoluxe would cost in the UK. However, retailer Clove is taking pre-orders for the smartphone, asking £258 (about $408) for it.
