Samsung Galaxy Note, Galaxy S II 4G and Galaxy Tab 8.9 4G headed to Australia

Back in October 2011, we told you that the Samsung Galaxy Note would be launched in Australia early this year. And now Vodafone Australia has confirmed via Twitter that it’d offer the device soon. Unfortunately, we don’t know how soon.

In any case, Vodafone may not be the first Australian carrier to sell the Galaxy Note.

According to Ausdroid, dummy models of the handset have started to arrive at Telstra retail stores, alongside dummy models of the Samsung Galaxy SII 4G and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 4G.

Reportedly, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 4G is expected to be released by Telstra in late February / early March – so the Galaxy Note and the S II 4G might hit the shelves at about the same time.

For the moment, it’s not clear if Telstra’s Galaxy Note will have LTE connectivity (like AT&T’s version in the US). But it’s certain that Vodafone’s Galaxy Note will not come with LTE, since the carrier hasn’t deployed an LTE network yet.
