White Samsung Galaxy Nexus 16GB headed to Verizon?
Verizon may launch a new and probably cheaper version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus soon.
According to Droid-life, the largest US mobile carrier is getting ready to introduce the Galaxy Nexus in both white and black, with only 16GB of internal memory. Since the current black model comes with 32GB of storage space and costs $299.99 on contract, the 16GB one could be sold for $199.99 on contract (Verizon has done a similar thing with the Motorola Droid Razr 32GB and Droid Razr 16GB).
The white Samsung Galaxy Nexus 16GB is already available unlocked in the US for $659 – but this is a GSM / HSDPA device, so it won’t work on Verizon.
