Motorola Motoluxe released in the UK, SIM free
A couple of weeks ago, Motorola announced that its Motoluxe Android smartphone would be launched in the UK before the end of this month. Well, the handset is now available there SIM free, via at least two major retailers.
Clove is asking £234 (about $371) for the Motoluxe, while Unlocked Mobiles lets you have it for £224.98 (about $357).
The Motoluxe runs Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread, measures 117.7 x 60.5 x 9.9 mm, and features a 4 inch FWVGA (854 x 480) display, MotoSwitch UI, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 8MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 512MB of RAM, 800MHz processor, and a lanyard with notification light.
Starting March, another new Motorola Android handset will be launched in the UK: the rugged Defi Mini (which will be cheaper than the Motoluxe).
