New Nokia Lumia 719 confirmed by the Bluetooth SIG
Back in December, we reported that Nokia would launch the new Lumia 900 and Lumia 719 Windows Phone handsets at CES 2012. Since only the Lumia 900 has been announced in the end, you may wonder what happened to the Lumia 719. Well, it still exists, and it looks like it’s coming soon.
The Bluetooth SIG has just approved the Lumia 719, saying it’s destined for Asia, North America and South America. Unfortunately, the features unveiled by the Group only suggest that the 719 isn’t too different from the Lumia 710, so we still don’t know what Nokia’s intentions are regarding this new handset. In any case, it should be an affordable device with a 3.7 inch ClearBlack display, 5MP rear camera, and HD video recording.
We’ve heard that Nokia plans to bring the Lumia 900 and Lumia 610 to MWC later this month, so maybe we’ll see the Lumia 719 there, too. We’ll obviously let you know if it happens.
