Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will be available in Canada on March 16 for $349.99
It appears that the new iPad won’t be the only tablet launching in Canada on March 16 (next Friday). In what has to be the worst timing in history (or is it?), Samsung will release the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus in Canada on that same day.
It will be in Future Shop, Best Buy, Staples, and The Source stores and will cost $349.99 outright. That’s for the Wi-Fi-only version with 16 GB of built-in storage space.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a 1.2 GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos processor, a 7-inch 1024×600 Gorilla Glass touchscreen, 1 GB of RAM, a 3 MP rear camera with 720p HD video recording, a 2 MP front-facing camera, and a microSD card slot. It runs Android 3.2 Honeycomb.
So it’s next Friday, and you’re out to get a new tablet. Which will you choose – the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus for $349.99 or the iPad 2 for $419?
