HTC One X Deluxe Limited Edition introduced in Taiwan
While the HTC One X hasn’t been launched yet – anywhere in the world – it already has a limited edition, called HTC One X Deluxe Limited Edition.
Announced today in Taiwan (HTC’s home country), the One X Deluxe comes in an exclusive packaging that includes a set of Solo Beats by Dre headphones (valued at $179.95, according to the official Beats website).
According to ePrice, pre-orders for the HTC One X Deluxe Limited Edition will start on March 20. The handset will cost 24,900 Taiwan dollars (about $842). There’s no word if HTC plans to sell this limited edition in other markets, too.
First showcased at MWC 2012 in Barcelona last month, the One X is HTC’s new Android flagship smartphone. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and features a 4.7 inch Super IPS HD display, Sense UI 4, HSPA 21Mbps, 1.5GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 8MP rear camera with simultaneous HD video and image recording, and 32GB of internal memory (only 26GB being user available).
In addition to being released across Europe and Asia, the One X will also be launched in North America – where AT&T is getting ready to sell it under the name HTC One XL (with LTE connectivity and a different processor – dual-core Snapdragon S4).
