HTC One X and One V to start shipping on April 2
It looks like Taiwan and China are the first markets where the new HTC One X and HTC One V will be released.
China Times has it that the One X and One V will start shipping there on April 2 – four days before the handsets are expected to arrive in the UK. Reportedly, the One X will cost 20,900 Taiwan dollars (about $706), while the One V should obviously be cheaper: 10,900 Taiwan dollars (about $368).
The One X is HTC’s latest flagship smartphone, featuring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Sense UI 4.0, a 4.7 inch HD display, Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera, and 32GB of internal memory. A dual-core LTE version of it, called HTC One XL, will be released in the US by AT&T (Sprint may also launch this version as the HTC Jet).
The One V also comes with Android 4.0 ICS and Sense 4.0, but its specs are on the lower-end side, including a 3.7 inch WVGA display, 5MP camera, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory.
