Nokia Lumia Tab pictured?
Let me just say it right from the beginning: this is probably fake.
Now that the disclaimer is out of the way… remember the oft-rumored Nokia tablet? This year’s mumblings have it launching at some point in the fourth quarter running Windows 8, which comes with a neatly touch-optimized interface.
The supposed Nokia tablet should also come with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, a 10-inch touchscreen, and it will be made by Compal. At least that’s what the latest rumors all claimed.
Could this be it?
The Nokia Lumia Tab might be what this product ends up being called. Or Lumia Pad. What do you think, would keeping the design language found in the Lumia 800 and Lumia 900 be a good thing for Nokia’s first tablet? Or does it look awkward on the bigger form factor?
The image above has surfaced at WPDang, and I’m all but certain it’s just a fan’s rendering of his or her dreams about a Nokia tablet. However, there is a (very) slim chance that this is real. In which case, no one could accuse Nokia of not being consistent, design-wise.
