Verizon’s HTC Rezound, Motorola Droid Razr and Razr Maxx to get Android 4.0 ICS updates next week?

Verizon has already announced a list of devices that would get Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich sometime later this year, but it didn’t provide exact timeframes for the updates.

Now it looks like three of the devices on that list might receive updates to ICS as soon as next week.

TechnoBuffalo has got hold of a BestBuy screenshot which indicates that the Motorola Droid Razr and the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx are going to be updated starting April 4. Moreover, the HTC Rezound should taste ICS as of April 6. Hopefully – for owners of the three handsets – these dates are accurate.

Other Verizon devices that will get ICS at some point include: HTC Thunderbolt, HTC Droid Incredible 2, HTC Rhyme, LG Spectrum, Motorola Droid 4, Motorola Droid Bionic, Motorola Xoom, Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2, Motorola Droid Xyboard 10.1, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7.

I know that this doesn’t belong here but again, I somehow ended up with samsung products and they are always the last to up grade their phones.  Maybe they should reduce their product line so they can become quicker with updates.  Or mabe it’s Verizon?  All I know is Motorola, Asus, HTC, Archos??? has updated their devices but Samsung has updated only one phone in US, I believe?  These are the last Samsung devices I’ll ever buy.  Just Venting?!?!
