LG P936 officially announced in Germany as the Optimus True HD LTE
LG is finally bringing its Optimus LTE Android smartphone to Europe. The handset has been officially announced in Germany, where it will be called LG Optimus True HD LTE. We’ve previously seen this version of the Optimus LTE as the LG P936.
Just like the Optimus LTE released in Canada, or AT&T’s LG Nitro HD, the Optimus True HD LTE features a 4.5 inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread at the moment, but an update to ICS is probably coming soon.
Unfortunately, LG didn’t say exactly when the Optimus True HD LTE would be available in Germany, and neither for what price. Also, there’s no word which German carrier will offer the handset (O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile are all offering LTE services).
