Motorola Razr Maxx officially announced in the UK. Will run Android 4.0 ICS from day one in Germany
Motorola has officially announced that its Razr Maxx smartphone (already released in the US as the Droid Razr Maxx) would be available in the UK starting mid May, this way confirming what we’ve previously reported. Unlocked, the handset costs about £430, and you will be able to find it via Clove, Expansys, Amazon, and other British retailers.
Earlier this month, Motorola unveiled that the Razr Maxx would be launched in Germany, also starting May. Interestingly, according to Moto, the handset will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when it reaches Germany. Sadly for customers over in the UK, The Verge reports that the Razr Maxx will be released with Android 2.3 Gingerbread there (but an update should follow shortly).
The Motorola Razr Maxx features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Advanced qHD display, 8MP rear camera, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and an impressive 3,300 mAh battery.
