Motorola Motoluxe officially announced in Canada
Introduced in Europe a few months ago, the Motorola Motoluxe is now officially making its way to Canada, where it will be released sometime before the end of June.
The Motoluxe is by no means a high-end handset, but that’s why its price will be on the low side (although we don’t know exactly how low in Canada). The smartphone runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and is 9.9mm thin. Its features include a 4 inch FWVGA display, MotoSwitch UI, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, 8MP rear camera, 800MHz processor, and a “unique multi-coloured LED indicator” that allows you to “see when you’ve missed a call, have a message waiting, or your battery is low.”
Motorola didn’t say which Canadian carriers will have the Motoluxe, but we’ve previously heard the handset would be released by Bell and Virgin Mobile.
