Samsung intros new Omnia M with Windows Phone 7.5
By Florin on 11 May 12Not long after introducing the Focus 2 for AT&T, Samsung has now announced another new Windows Phone device: the Samsung Omnia M. Unlike the Focus 2, the Omnia M doesn’t feature LTE connectivity, and is made for Europe.
The new Omnia is really an entry-level smartphone – apart from the fact that it has a slightly larger screen, its specs can’t even match the ones the Omnia W from last year has. It runs Windows Phone 7.5, and features a 4 inch Super AMOLED WVGA display, 1GHz single-core processor, 384MB of RAM, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, and 4GB of internal memory. You also get stuff like Samsung AllShare, Samsung ChatOn, and Windows Live SkyDrive with 25GB of free online storage.
Samsung didn’t say how much the Omnia M would cost (but it will probably want it to have a price similar to Nokia’s Lumia 610 – about €200). The handset’s exact launch date was not unveiled.
