LG Optimus Elite available now at Virgin Mobile USA
Not long ago, Virgin Mobile USA started taking pre-orders for the LG Optimus Elite, saying the handset would be out on May 15. And today the smartphone is indeed available.
Sold by Virgin for $149.99 off-contract, the LG Optimus Elite isn’t among the greatest smartphones out there – and, at this price, it couldn’t have been anyway. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and features a 3.5 inch HVGA display, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP rear camera, 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and a case that’s built from 50% recycled plastics.
You can go here at Virgin Mobile to buy the handset online.
The LG Optimus Elite is also available at Sprint, where it costs $29.99 on contract.
