Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be updated to Android 4.0.4 ICS soon
Although it was initially expected to arrive in early May, the official Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update for Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Nexus is only now ready to be rolled-out.
According to Droid-life, Verizon has confirmed that the update would be out “soon”, and this likely means in a few days. The software upgrade (version IMM76K) brings email and messaging improvements, Calendar enhancements, and several small fixes (related to Voicemail, Wi-Fi, and others).
Verizon is currently selling the Galaxy Nexus for $199.99 on contract, although customers can buy it cheaper if they look elsewhere (for example, Wirefly is offering for only $50 on contract to new customers).
