HTC One V to be launched by Virgin Mobile USA this month
We already know that the HTC One V will be released in the US sometime this summer, via at least three carriers: MetroPCS, US Cellular, and Virgin Mobile. But the question is, when exactly? Well, DroidDog has it that Virgin Mobile will start selling the new smartphone “in the next two weeks.”
It’s said that Virgin will offer the device for $200 – without any agreement, of course. Apparently, this is what Virgin Mobile’s One V looks like (it’s obviously similar to the European version):
Officially announced by HTC at the same time with the One X and One S (which are already a available in the US), the One V features Android 4.0 ICS, Sense 4 UI, a 3.7 inch WVGA display, 1GHz single-core processor, Beats Audio, 5MP rear camera with LED flash and 720p video recording, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support. The smartphone measures 120.3 x 59.7 x 9.2 mm, and comes with a 1,500 mAh battery.
