HTC Incredible S Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update now rolling out
By Vlad Bobleanta on 02 Jul 12Sticking to its promises made earlier this year, HTC is continuing to deliver Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich goodness to its older phones (albeit at a pretty slow pace). And now it looks like it’s time for the Incredible S to get its tasty treat.
So if you own an HTC Incredible S, be happy. The ICS update is on its way to you, as part of a global over-the-air rollout. Which means that your phone will notify you when it’s time to download and install the 250 MB update. If it hasn’t done so already, perhaps you should try manually checking – you could get lucky.
After applying the update, your Incredible S will run Android 4.0.4 and Sense 3.6, the version of HTC’s UI overlay destined for older phones (none of which have been updated to the new Sense 4 experience seen in the One series devices).
