Sony Xperia P to be updated to Android 4.0 ICS starting August
It looks like Sony’s Xperia P will get a taste of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as soon as next month – not too long after the Xperia S has started receiving its own update.
According to Sony Italy’s Facebook page, the official ICS update for the Xperia P is planned for early August. Assuming there will be no delays, Xperia P owners in other countries should expect to get the update at about the same time.
Most probably, the Xperia P (alongside the Xperia S) will also get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean – although this will likely not happen too soon.
