Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 launched in Canada
Samsung has officially announced that its two Galaxy Tab 2 Android tablets are available in Canada now, and customers can get it from “select retailers nationwide.” As you probably already know, the new tabs come with 7.0 inch and 10.1 inch displays, and both run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 costs $249, while the Tab 2 10.1 is obviously a bit more expensive: $349. Both are offered unlocked, in Wi-Fi-only flavors.
Of course, instead of buying the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, you could wait for the Google Nexus 7, which should bring Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to Canada on July 23, for $259.
