New Samsung Unpacked event scheduled for August 30. Galaxy Note 2 likely be announced then
We’ve heard about the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 quite a few times until now. And while it’s assumed that it will be released in October, there’s no official word on when it will be announced (because, you know, you have to announce something before bringing it to the market).
Fortunately, Korean website DDaily now has it that Samsung has scheduled a new Unpacked event for August 30 (just prior to IFA 2012, Berlin). This kind of confirms what we’ve reported earlier, namely that the new Note 2 would be announced on that day. It kind of makes sense for this to happen, since the first Galaxy Note (pictured below) was also unveiled in Berlin, at IFA 2011.
The rumored features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 include: a 5.5 inch display with 1680 x 1050 pixels, LTE, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1.5GB of RAM, and a multi-core processor.
