Google Nexus 7 shipping in the UK now

Just a few days after the Google Nexus 7 has started shipping in the US, now the tablet is also ready to reach customers over in the UK.

Retailers PC World and Currys are selling the 16GB version of the Nexus 7 for £199.99. Those who’ve already ordered the tablet should receive it starting today. For the moment, the 8GB edition of the device doesn’t seem to be available in the UK.

Manufactured by Asus, the Nexus 7 is Google’s first tablet, as well as the world’s first device to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It’s 10.5mm thin, and features a 7 inch IPS Gorilla Glass display with 1280 x 800 pixels, Wi-Fi, GPS, 1GB of RAM, 1.3GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1.2MP front-facing camera, and a 4,325 mAh battery.
