Dual SIM Acer Liquid Gallant Duo with Android ICS coming soon
Acer has a new Liquid Android smartphone that could be released in the UK next month. Called Acer Liquid Gallant Duo, the handset comes with dual SIM capabilities, and has been spotted over at Expansys. Unfortunately, the British retailer quickly removed the Liquid Gallant Duo product page, which likely means the device isn’t ready for an official announcement yet.
Still, MoDaCo has managed to obtain images of the new Liquid, as well as most of its features. The handset runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and offers a 4.3 inch qHD display, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 1GB of RAM, 1GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 1,500 mAh battery.
According to what Expansys had previously stated, the Acer Liquid Gallant Duo should be released on August 8, for £148.99 (about €189 or $232). We’ll find out soon if this is going to happen or not.
