BlackBerry PlayBook with 4G LTE and 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU coming on July 31
The elusive 4G LTE-capable version of RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook tablet is finally about to become available at the end of this month. What’s more, it will come with an upgraded processor as well.
The Playbook 4G LTE will have a 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, which is a clear step up from the 1 GHz dual-core unit inside the original PlayBook.
In Canada, the new tablet will be out on July 31. Bell will sell it for $549.95 outright, as claimed in the leaked document you can see above. However, it will probably launch on other carriers as well.
The 4G LTE PlayBook will only come in a 32 GB of storage version.
