Verizon’s LG VS930 to be called LG Spectrum 2?
We’ve already seen the LG VS930, which is Verizon’s version of the LG Optimus LTE 2. Now new renders of it have appeared, alongside new name-related info.
TechnoBuffalo has it that the smartphone will be called LG Spectrum 2 when it finally hit the shelves. And that kind of makes sense, since the first Spectrum (launched by Verizon in January, and currently sold for $99.99 on contract) is the VS920.
There’s still no word on when Verizon intends to release the VS930 Spectrum 2. But we know that it will come with a 4.7 inch True IPS HD display, LTE, NFC, 8MP rear camera, 1GB of RAM, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and 16GB of internal memory. It will run Android 4.0.4 at launch – or maybe Jelly Bean? We’ll see.
