Samsung Omnia M with Windows Phone launched in India
Already available in a few European markets (including Italy) for some time, the Samsung Omnia M has been released in India today.
The new Omnia runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, and will probably be updated to Windows Phone 7.8 (but not to Windows Phone 8). Its features include a 4 inch Super AMOLED display with 800 x 480 pixels, HSDPA, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, VGA front-facing camera, 5MP rear camera with Flash, stereo FM radio with RDS, 384MB of RAM, a 1GHz single-core processor, 4GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 1,500 mAh battery.
You can buy the Omnia M directly from Samsung India’s eStore here. Unlocked, the handset costs 16,400 (about $295).
