Sprint’s Motorola Photon Q LTE pictured, QWERTY keyboard included
Expected to be launched later this year as the successor to the original Photon 4G (introduced in the summer of 2011), the Motorola Photon Q LTE has appeared in a leaked image for the first time.
The image reveals that the Photon Q LTE sports a sliding QWERTY keyboard – a feature that’s becoming quite rare on high-end smartphones these days. According to SlashGear, Sprint CEO Dan Hesse has confirmed the existence of the new Photon, although no other specific details have been unveiled. The device should run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich at launch.
The original Photon isn’t available anymore from Sprint, so the third largest US mobile carrier could release the new model pretty soon. We’ll let you know when it happens.
