Android 4.0 ICS update for Sprint’s HTC Evo 3D available now
A few weeks ago, Sprint said that HTC Evo 3D owners should expect to receive Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates “by early August.” And now, right on time, the carrier announced that ICS for the 2011 handset is available for download.
The update is done over the air, and will likely reach all Evo 3D owners in the next few days. More details are available here at Sprint. There’s no word if the Evo 3D will be also updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
The Evo 3D is no longer in stock at Sprint, as it’s been replaced by the newer Evo 4G LTE (which runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich from day one).
