Asus Padfone will be launched in Australia on August 14
Asus has reportedly announced that it’s getting ready to release its Padfone Android ICS hybrid device in Australia.
According to PC World, the Padfone will cost $999.99, and customers should be able to find it through Harvey Norman retail stores starting August 14. The retail package will include the Padfone smartphone, the tablet dock (which adds a 6,600 mAh battery), a “smart sleeve” case, and a Bluetooth pen that lets you make calls without removing the phone from the tablet dock.
One week before launching the Padfone, Asus will introduce the Transformer Infinity Pad in Australia. This will also cost $999.99 (64GB version), coming with Android 4.0 ICS, a full HD (1920 x 1200) display, and a keyboard dock.
