Sony Xperia Tipo launches in the UK on August 8
The Sony Xperia Tipo will arrive in the UK on August 8 after all. Well known retailer Carphone Warehouse is already taking pre-orders for the device, with shipments said to begin in about a week.
This is good news because the only other release date we’ve heard so far for the Tipo in the UK was August 20. 12 days earlier sounds pretty cool.
The Xperia Tipo is being offered by the Carphone Warehouse for free with contracts starting at £10.50 per month, on Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, and O2. On Pay as you go, the price you’ll need to pay is £89.95 (plus a £10 mandatory top-up). If you’d rather get the Tipo SIM-free, it will cost £119.95.
If you’re interested, head over to the Carphone Warehouse now and pre-order yours.
