Sony Xperia P Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will be rolling out later this month
Here’s some good news if you own a Sony Xperia P. Following the release of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Xperia S, it looks like Sony got some time on its hands to work for the Xperia P’s tasty treat. And that will be out too pretty soon.
Sony’s India arm took to Facebook to announce that Android 4.0.4 will be rolling out to the Xperia P between August 19 and August 25.
Unfortunately for you if you don’t live in India, it’s still unclear whether this time frame applies to other territories as well. But even if it doesn’t, it probably won’t take long after that for your Xperia P to receive the latest software version from its maker.
Well, latest for Sony anyway. There’s no word on if or when the Xperia P will see a further update to Jelly Bean, the current Android version. But stay tuned and we’ll let you know if we hear something.
