LG Optimus L7, L5 and L3 getting a QuickMemo update
LG has announced that it’s offering a maintenance release update for its L-series smartphones: Optimus L7 (running Android ICS), Optimus L5 (Android ICS), and Optimus L3 (Android Gingerbread).
The update brings QuickMemo to the three devices, allowing users to capture any type of content displayed on the screen, and write or draw on them with their finger. Any QuickMemo note can then be shared with friends via email, text, of chat.
The update is rolling-out now in “certain regions”, and should reach all L-series users before the end of the third quarter.
LG has also confirmed that it will launch not only the Optimus L7 in pink, but also the other two L-series handsets in the same color.
