RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE available in Canada now
Canadians who are in the market for a tablet that was initially supposed to be released last year can buy one as of today. We’re obviously talking about RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook 4G LTE, which – as promised – has been released via Rogers, Bell, and Telus.
All three Canadian carriers are asking similar prices for the PlayBook 4G LTE: $349.99 on contract, or $549.99 without any agreement. In addition to having LTE connectivity, the new PlayBook bests the previous models with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The rest of its features have not been changed.
You can buy the PlayBook 4G LTE here at Rogers, here at Telus, or here at Bell.
The LTE-capable BlackBerry PlayBook will also be released in the US, Europe, and Latin America, starting “the coming months.”
