HTC Thunderbolt, Desire S, Sensation and others to get Android 4.0 ICS updates by the end of August
HTC has already updated some of its Gingerbread smartphones to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (including the Rezound and the Evo 3D), but there are still quite a few other handsets that are waiting for the newer version of the OS.
Fortunately, it looks like all of them will get ICS before the end of August. Or at least that’s what HTC hopes, according to what the company has been posting on Facebook lately (here and here).
Among the HTC smartphones that should receive an update to Ice Cream Sandwich this month we have Verizon’s Thunderbolt, Droid Incredible 2, Incredible S, Rhyme, and the Desire S. The Desire HD is still excluded from the list, and will remain that way.
